For click-action models (full-size and Mini): Unscrew the pen at the grip section where the grooves meet the barrel. Remove the old refill, spring, and adapter (if used). Insert your new refill — use the included adapter for shorter refills like Fisher Space Pen, or remove it for longer refills like Pilot G2. For twist-action models: Unscrew the nose cone, remove the old refill, insert the new one with the appropriate adapter, and reassemble.
