Description

The PROOF Obsidian is a slim RFID-blocking wallet built on a 260 brass frame in a brushed finish, wrapped in black full-grain leather. It holds up to 25 cards inside the frame and 20 folded bills under the rear strap, at 3.3 oz.

How It Carries
Cards sit inside the brass frame rather than in leather pockets, so the plate takes the pressure instead of the card edges and protects them from bending. RFID-blocking material is built into the interior. A leather pull tab on the front fans the stack out in one motion. An elastic strap across the back holds folded bills flat against the plate.

Brushed 260 Brass
260 brass is a dense cartridge-brass alloy with a warm gold tone, brushed here rather than polished. It is the reason this wallet weighs 93 g, and it reads warm against the black leather rather than cool.

Full-Grain Leather
Full-grain keeps the outermost layer of the hide intact rather than sanding it smooth. It is the densest part of the skin, it takes a scuff without losing the surface, and it darkens as it ages.
